From the creative team that brought you the popular El Rey on U Street in NW DC, comes a new taqueria & margarita bar located at the Ballston Exchange in Arlington.
El Rey VA’s fiesta atmosphere features our signature margaritas, delicious tacos, and a few extra treats exclusive to the Ballston location.
Hours:
Monday - Thursday + Sunday 11am - 11pm
Friday - Saturday 11am - 2am
Weekend Brunch 11am - 3pm
Reservations are not required. First come first served.

While paying homage to the shipping container theme of the original El Rey on U Street DC, we’ve also invited local artist Mike Pacheco to design interior murals for a fresh, modern, street-art vibe.
The main bar features 12 beers on draft, including many selections from our local craft brewery friends.
